Drug Needs - Drug Source - Drug Use (1969)

This fascinating relic from 1969 was produced by "Lockheed Aircraft Corporation." That's the company we now know as Lockheed-Martin, the war profiteer that manufactures weapons responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent people, not just in the Middle East, but all over the world. I'm not exactly sure who this educational film was intended for. On the surface it looks like it was for police training purposes. It definitely would be over the heads of children. The caveman host refers to his audience as "you decision makers" which seems to cloud the answer of who these were made for even more. At this point I do not have any clue who the animators were. The heroin manufacturer seems to have walked out of an episode of Johnny Quest. The best moment of this reel is in the final twenty seconds when we see what looks like a resident of Bedrock shoot up!
