Disneyland: Mars and Beyond (1957)

We're enjoying some of the cooler Disney items out there - reminding all the crumudgeons that although Disney is worthless as an artistic enterprise today - and has been rather bankrupt of anything interesting for about thirty-five years now - there was a time when they regularly put out gems. This is from the Disneyland show and features beautiful design from the Cartoon Modern school courtesy Ward Kimball. Clip number two is the most fun, but the look is brilliant throughout.

Terrific film. But a note of clarification: Tom Oreb had no involvement in the film. It was designed by story artist John Dunn and director Ward Kimball.
