Most animation purists hate this era of Walter Lantz cartoons. They find them poorly animated and uninspired. I love them. I think they are more amusing than anything else that's around today. And this episode especially with its groovy Walter Greene music and mod plot - i love it love it love it!

Oh man, couldn't agree more. Loved all that Lantz stuff growing up. Especially back when Woody Woodpecker was soooo demented!
