Your Hit Parade with The Raymond Scott Quintet (1955)
Powerhouse is of course one of the most recognizable tunes in the history of animation. Here is Raymond Scott performing his compostion live on television in the mid-fifties.
Raymond Scott was a truely legendary jazz trumpteer whose name reflects on the genre's enduring legacy and imaginary compositions during the big-band era of the 1940s and 1950s. Enough said.
Regardless of how good Scott's trumpet-playing credentials are is essential to the jazz music industry and continues to remain to been seen and heard by many fans. Trumthumpeting Scott into moch of the 20th century was just as incredible as he was. Even better.
